If anyone asks about the explosions at the WalMart and those abandoned houses, I was nowhere near them.

This time, I have a permit. This display of fireworks will be even better than the last.

Memorial Day was relaxing. Other than grilling and setting off a few hundred rockets it was a laid back affair. They seemed to enjoy the food thought it was hard to tell with Kayura and Heiji. They didn't stay long enough to even taste the ribs.

Fun. And Independance Day should be just as amusing.

I've purchased everything needed for a barbecue this weekend. The fireworks however will take another day or so. I was unaware that I needed a permit to fire off professional grade fireworks within the city. All that's left is to hope the weather is good Monday.

Memorial Day is coming up. It's a day of barbecues and fireworks.

Time to buy a grill. And some Roman candles.

And some meat. Kayura, Kaito, Heiji, what would you like at a barbecue?

Yesterday was their anniversary. They're still celebrating.

It looks like I'll be making more meals for a while.

... Maybe I should get an outdoor grill.

I managed to make pancakes without burning the house down. I'm pleased.

I'll have to buy more of these Alton Brown cookbooks.

And thermometers.

This is too little too late...

But I need to learn how to cook. Without burning the house down.

It's getting warmer. I feel more energetic than I have in months.  Now to find something interesting to do...

Another holiday approaches. St. Patrick's Day. And no doubt something will happen. The beer will cause people to dance uncontrollably. Or leprechauns will appear and start playing pranks on people - if they don't fix our shoes, enchant our breakfast cereals or kill us for taking their pot of gold. Or perhaps the town will choose to stick closer to the source lore and and we'll be overrun with snakes that only a holy man can eliminate.

... I almost look forward to it. I'm growing bored.

Until the clothes he ordered from you arrive, Kurama is wearing my clothes and I am running out of things to wear myself. And I look like a clown wearing his clothes, considering our height differences. Tell me you have something for me. Please.

This will be an amusing Valentine's day. I got everyone their regular gifts as well as a special joke gift for Kaito. I can already imagine the look on his and Ginbara's face when they see what i got him. *laughs.*

The game would have been far more amusing if the area I'd been assigned weren't so damned cold. I'm beginning to agree with the assessment of others: whomever was in charge of that game took delight in seeing most of us miserable.

My teammates fought well, considering the circumstances. We'll have to do something like that again. On OUR terms this time.

As soon I check up on Kurama and the family, I'm going to take a very hot shower.

The vacation was fun. Kurama's mother was pleasant as always, and I got the opportunity to catch up on things with our friends back home. I'm actually glad Kuwabara decided to come to the U.S. with us. I had almost forgotten how much fun it is to annoy him.

We had just gotten off the plane when we found out about this contest. This sounds promising. Especially if the more skilled citizens of town can actually make this a challenge. I'll go sign up before I finish unpacking.

Bwteen Kayura coming home late, Kurama suddenly turning female again and the dogs that tried to enter our yard if not our house, yesterday has been very... interesting.

And now it's snowing. I hate the cold. I swear sometimes this city wants me to be miserable sometimes. If anyone needs me, I'll be staying inside until it's above fifty degrees again.

These wings are annoying. I can't even fly with them because they're too small. >_<

Some alien came up to me asking if I knew where Santa Claus was. I told him I didn't then he asked me to come with him. And he called me a child.

So I dealt with him appropriately.

... I should go check on Saria if Kurama hasn't done so already.

Now that Kurama has returned, I can focus on other things.
